EVENT NOTICE

The live music event Out 2 Lunch Festival is returning to the Gold Coast on Saturday 3and Sunday 4 May 2025.

Following the success of the inaugural Out 2 Lunch Festival at Coolangatta Beach in 2024, which injected more than $50 million dollars into the local economy, this year’s expanded two-day event is set to take place on Surfers Paradise Beach and will provide another round of support to local businesses in the region.

The Event will be headlined by globally recognised Gold Coast resident, DJ Fisher, and has been scheduled for the QLD Labour Day long weekend to maximise the ancillary economic and tourism benefits.

On each of the Event days, there will be amplified music from 3.00pm to 10.00pm, with gates open at 2.00pm and a peak volume between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

CommencingSunday 27 April 2025, there will be a phased event build and pack down. It has been designed to ensure community access to the beach and foreshore is maintained during the build period and pack down. During the event, a portion of the foreshore and beach will be fenced off. The bump out phase will commence immediately after the event and will be completed no later than Thursday 8 May2025.

To enable the event to occur there will be a partial road closure on the Esplanade with full details to be confirmed shortly. Businesses and residents who are affected by the closure will be contacted directly regarding traffic access plans to minimise disruptions.

We are also encouraging businesses to get involved to maximise benefits from the event through a Business & Community participation program.
